My mom adds cinnamon to hers and it makes it extra great!
I think using uncooked rice tends to make for a creamier pudding because of the starch...But,it takes longer to bake...2 hours instead of 30 mins when using cooked rice...





Basic recipe


1/2 C uncooked rice


1/2 sugar


1 t vanilla


1/2 t salt


4 cups milk





combine and bake for 2 hours at 325





or 2 C cooked rice


2 C milk


1 t vanilla


dash of salt


2 T melted butter


2 eggs well beaten





combine and pour into buttered baking dish ...bake 30 mins at 350
