What is your best recipe for grilling? I just bought an awesome grill and now need some awesome recipes. LOL?

We love our Weber Big Book of Grilling. Its pages are dog-eared from all the use we get from it. It has many of our favorites recipes, complete cookouts and excellent grilling advice.

For grilling times we use the cookout calculator at charcoalbob.com. Enter the things you'll be grilling and it gives you instructions for how to grill steaks, pork chops, boneless chicken breasts and burgers just the way you want them. With this and the Weber Big Book of Grilling we've planned some incredible cookouts.

I've seen the book in the cooking section of major book stores, and you can also read reviews of it at places like amazon.com.

Congratulations on your new grill. Enjoy! What is your best recipe for grilling? I just bought an awesome grill and now need some awesome recipes. LOL?

Grilled food tastes good, but it's all about the marinade.
Forget5 the gas and stack the coals!......OK once you've done that let them burn in a pyramd formation till they nice n white on top. Take a big fat juicy steak and trim the fat from the edges. Take a billow or something to blow the white ash from top the coals and place the trimmed fat upon the red coals, replace grill and slam tht steak on there. Sear tht monster n flip it over....after it's cooked to ur liking you'll have the juiciest steak ever!
Very simple, but good!

buy a pre-marinated pork tenderloin (most groceries carry it in their meat dept.)

cut into 2-3 inch thick fillets

wrap with a piece of bacon, hold with a toothpick

lightly season with pepper or favorites

do not overgrill!!!

a lot of people do not know, but pork can be cooked to about a medium.

It is safe, as long as the internal temp. is 155.

overcooking is why most people think pork is dry.

These are delicious!! Enjoy!!
Its nothing fancy, but one of my biggest hits is a foil packet potato dish.

I peel and slice up some potatoes. Slice up some onion. Use Italian seasoning and season salt and layer it in on some tin foil. Put a bunch of spoonfulls of butter or margarine all over. Wrap up the foil into a packet and grill on medium heat for an hour.
Go the manufacturers web site They will have lots of recipes and coking techniques. Here's one for Weber Grills

STEAK SEASONING WHOCHESHIRE SAUCE A1 LEMON VEGETABLE OIL AND COOK TO PREFERENCES AND ALSO YOU COULD PUT SOME ONIONS ON OR ANY OTHER TOPPINGS. BUT IF YOU LIKE SPICY PUT SOME GARLIC ON IT. MAYBE EVEN BEFORE YOU COOK THE STEAK, LAY IT DOWN FLAT THEN MAKE TINY CUTS AND ADD STUFF WITHIN THE STEAK LIKE PEPPERS. GOOD LUCK!! ALSO DO NOTFORGET TO MARINATE YOUR FOOD.
Now ya need to go back out and buy some cedar cooking planks! They are great for the grill!

You soak them in water, and then put them on the grill with your food on top...wonderful flavor!

I do veggies, like squash and peppers on mine...just drizzle with a little olive oil and put em on the plank.

Salmon, and other fish, are terrific done this way...A little butter and lemon juice, some salt and pepper! Yum!
